Extrusion

A careful balance of flow rate, alloy, temperature and pressure allows us to produce extrusions, the choice of which are limited only by size.

With extrusion presses running at up to 1,000 tonnes, we produce a variety of items as diverse as wire, sash weights and chevron rails.

Additional facilities provide for ‘continuous’ Lead encapsulation onto, for instance, steel cable and copper tape.
